100% Refund

Entitled to: Total refund, minus any service charges

Service Charge: €50 for transactions by card

50% Refund

Qualifies for: Half of the total cost of the charter

Service Charge: €25 subtracted from the refund amount

Under 24 Hours Before Charter

No Refund

Qualifies for: Refunds are not available under these circumstances

Exception: Cases of emergency may be taken into account

Alternative Option: Credit for a future charter might be provided at the discretion of management

Documentation: Proof is required for emergency situations

Weather-Related Cancellations

Our Commitment to Weather Safety

Our paramount concern is safety. Should weather conditions be deemed risky by our certified captain and unfit for charter activities, we offer the following accommodations:

  • Full Refund: If rescheduling isn't an option, a complete refund is given
  • Reschedule: You can change your charter to another open date without incurring extra costs
  • Charter Credit: We will issue a credit valid for one year from your original charter date

Procedures for Weather Assessment

We conduct a thorough weather evaluation that encompasses:

  • Analysis of wind patterns and strength
  • Inspection of wave magnitude and maritime conditions
  • Forecasts for visibility and rainfall
  • Notifications and cautions issued by the Coast Guard
  • Safety analysis by a professional captain

Time of Decision: The call on weather-related cancellations is made no more than 4 hours before the arranged departure.

Refunds for Medical Emergencies

Considerations for Emergencies

We are sympathetic to the fact that medical emergencies can happen. These scenarios may be eligible for special refund consideration:

  • A sudden health-related event or injury that necessitates hospital care
  • Passing away of a close family member
  • Unanticipated military deployment or recall
  • Being legally summoned for jury service or court appearance
  • Natural disasters that disrupt travel plans

Proof Requirements

To process a refund request due to an emergency, the following evidence is necessary:

  • A medical statement or hospital reports
  • Death certificate, if relevant
  • Official military summons
  • Notice of court summons or jury duty
  • Official travel warnings or declarations of emergency

Refund Process: Emergency-related refunds are managed within 3-5 business days following documentation submission.

Cancellations Due to Operations

Technical Problems with the Vessel

If the yacht you've booked has unsolvable technical issues:

  • Replacement Vessel: We'll aim to provide an equivalent alternative
  • Complete Refund: If there's no appropriate replacement available
  • Partial Refund: If the replacement yacht has a different rate
  • Extra Compensation: We might offer additional recompense for any inconvenience caused

Unavailability of Crew

In the unlikely event that a certified crew is not available:

  • We will attempt to source an alternative crew
  • Full refund if the charter is unable to proceed
  • Rescheduling at no additional charge

Payment Method

Refunds will be issued to the initial payment method utilized for the booking:

  • Credit Cards: 5-7 business days for processing
  • Bank Transfers: Processing within 7-10 business days
  • Cash/Cheque: 3-5 business days for processing

Charter Credits

Instances When Credits May Be Given

Under certain conditions, charter credits could be offered instead of refunds:

  • Last-minute cancellations (less than a day in advance)
  • Cancellations due to weather conditions
  • Requests to voluntarily change booking dates
  • Disruptions that are operational in nature

Conditions of Credit

  • Effective Period: Valid for one year from date of issuance
  • Transference: Credits cannot be passed to others
  • Monetary Value: Valid for the full value of the charter, with no fees applied
  • Application: Usable for any bookable charter
  • Usage Expiry: Extensions beyond a year are not granted

Refunds for Partially Fulfilled Services

Service Disruptions

Should there be an interruption or an early end to your charter due to reasons we can control:

  • Refund apportioned based on the unused portion
  • Credit for another charter of similar value
  • Complimentary upgrades or additional offerings

Interruptions Caused by Guests

If a charter is stopped prematurely due to misconduct by a guest or because of safety breaches:

  • No refund for the time not used
  • Full payment remains required
  • Potential for extra charges

Solving Refund Disagreements

Should you not agree with a verdict regarding a refund, the following steps are available:

  • Appeal for evaluation by our administrative crew
  • Submit supplementary evidence or documents
  • Request aid from consumer advocacy groups
  • Explore legal action as sanctioned by governing laws
